A high-performance Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) is being built in Bochum. The project comprises 15 battery storage cabinets with a total capacity of 3.2 MW. Its immediate proximity to the substation provides optimal conditions for operating the battery storage system and participating in the energy market.

The individual cabinets are offered as an IAB product, allowing investors to directly participate in the storage infrastructure.
