The South Brandenburg project is designed as a stand-alone, large-scale battery storage system with a capacity of 9 MW and will be built in close proximity to a substation. Direct grid connection enables grid-supportive flexibility, strengthens the stability of the electricity grid, and supports the integration of renewable energies. With its storage capacity, the project makes a significant contribution to security of supply and the transformation of the regional energy infrastructure.
